Snowball fight!
Not sure where Kathy disappeared to all day yesterday (I hadn’t seen her since the party Friday night), but I saw her, Jakob, Gaby, and a few other folks having a snowball fight today, so I joined in, and a bunch of other people did, too, a little later. It’s been ages since I had a real snowball fight. My first (and last before this one, I think) were up in the mountains on family trips when I was growing up.
Even though they’re cold and sometimes stingingly painful, there is something about a snowball fight that just makes one feel ALIVE! At one point, a few of us banded together and built a fort (read: dug a hole and pushed up some piddly snow walls) and started bombarding everyone else, so they dug their own hole and started fighting back with snow balistics… IHBSM (inter-hole balistc snow missles)? We finally reached a ceasefire agreement. I think I might have agreed to give someone an erotic massage as part of the terms, but I am not sure, exactly, and due to the weird sound dampening effects of the snow, I’m not really sure either who it was that I might owe said massage. Drop on by my room here in the main house if you’re reading this and the person to whom I owe this possible debt, because I’m enjoying being warm right now.
After the ceasefire, we dispearsed peacefully and Kathy ran off again. I’ll find some time to talk with her off-mic while she’s here, at some point!
